ANGIE VAUTRIN & MARIE PELLEGRIN
Recently, I had the pleasure of organizing a conference at ISIPCA around the brand Ingredientaliste, with its founder Angie VAUTRIN and co-founder Marie Pellegrin in attendance.
Drawing on fifteen years at the heart of the industry, particularly in production, Angie looked back on her career path and on the creation of an independent project born from a clear ambition: to rethink perfumery through greater transparency and a return to essentials.
Their approach stands out through deliberately short formulas, limited in number of ingredients and displayed directly on the bottle with their percentages. It is a vision that challenges a paradox specific to our sector: the lack of transparency around compositions.
At the same time, they advocate complete control over the production chain, from the selection of raw materials to distribution, making it possible to preserve the quality of the creations while rethinking their accessibility.
Beyond the model they propose, this meeting opened up a broader reflection on the evolution of perfumery, at the crossroads of innovation, high standards, and responsibility, as well as on the role future industry players will have in these transformations.
